One of these things just doesn't belong"..... 

Today's blip is a "remember a moment" blip. Katie thinks its hilarious to hide in her toy basket. I love that she still thinks its hilarious. I will be sad when she doesn't anymore. Or indeed doesn't fit. So today I am holding that moment dear. 

She came home with a rolled up piece of paper in her bag today. She said "I wanted to write in Spanish, so I went and found the book and knew how to do it". Indeed, she'd written about 10 sentences in Spanish and knew what each of them meant. The whole school is in the early stages of "International Fortnight" and this year's country is Spain. They're learning about the Fiestas at the moment. For the big international night at the end of the half term, there's a carnival parade and each year group is celebrating a different fiesta within it. Her class are the big food fight. That's right, they're all dressing up as tomatoes....
