Irongray Church

I drove into town today through flooded roads, past flooded fields, to discover that the swimming pool  at the Crichton and the college were both also flooded, and closed until further notice.
Instead of warming up with a sauna, Joe and I had a drink at the cafe and went to the shops before heading back home. On the way, I stopped off at Irongray Church, where the light was lovely. Sadly the churchyard was flooded in places (see extra).
More heavy rain is forecast for later in the week :-(
