Searching for Somewhere Suitable

Spent most of day searching for somewhere to live, all in the centre of town, and some properties were pretty strange... Posting this view from the tiny rooftop veranda of the first place we looked at because we almost certainly will not be renting that one, and it's a great view of Mora's surroundings. It was the only one with an outside bit, but unfortunately didn't make up for the depressing cramped feeling of the rest.

There must be something suitable for us here somewhere...

Meanwhile, J and AJ are being so welcoming - they are making dinner for us and the Portuguese colleagues tonight, even though they are still managing on a two-burner camping stove and no fridge.  

Mike has unpacked our electric blanket - we suffered with the cold last night, which hasn't helped the streaming colds we've acquired.

(When I get a moment, will be looking how to change this journal's name to amandoAlentejo - which means "loving Alentejo" - this region of Portugal)
