Journey's End

Was quite sorry to have posted early lastnight, as we went out afterwards, and saw a lot more of Salamanca - stunning city, especially at night - so main photo today is of the storks on the cathedral there - everywhere there are storks busy building their nests.

The extra is through the car window as we arrived at our destination - Mora in the Alto Alentejo - it was raining, but there was a golden glow in the sky - everything seems significant at the start of something.

We are staying with Dutch colleagues until we find somewhere of our own. We've never met before and they are still settling in themselves, but they've been incredibly kind and welcoming, and are making us dinner as I type; Mike is trying to fix their toilet - think I just heard a flush.

We would love to find somewhere soon, so we don't have to unload our car twice...
