Dreich Day

Woke up to a windy day and it's poured all day long.  It has finally stopped this evening and the wind has dropped.  

The morning started in the office but due to illness, I got called down to work on the museum desk all day.   It's been a really busy morning with 200 visitors in by 11am.  The library were down with Book Bug, a toddlers storytelling and 160 turned up.  The day eased off a bit but still plenty of locals and more tourists arriving for Up Helly Aa next week.  I also met another Blip member up visiting :)  I have my niece Elise over for tea tonight and she's staying for a few hours too.  Settled down with the telly and Shetland murders too.  

I took this photo out of my office window this morning, with the busy day, I never managed anymore photos.  It was such a dreich morning but the new flats are almost finished and looking bright.  Looking on to Commercial Road from the Shetland Museum.
