Lessertia frutescens - common name Balloon Pea

Looking out for seeds I saw this on a walk round the block. The owner only knew it as duck plant. On googling I found there were lots of things called duck plant but the puffed up seed capsules helped me decide which this was. It has a red flower and leaves like a kaka beak. It loves the dry and the one I saw was in a hard piece of ground by a letter box.
On splitting it open there were the seeds grinning at me. Perfect for Tiny Tuesday.
