Not just another heron

A heron taken with the old Panasonic DMC-TZ15 with x10 zoom. I didn't want to walk from home carrying the heavier Canon x50 so took the old camera, just in case. It has to be the Lumix lens that makes the difference.
I had forgotten how sharp and crisp it makes the photos.
I am about 5-6 metres from the heron but everything I took today seemed so much cleaner.
It has it's drawbacks like a reflective screen that doesn't pull out. So I need a combination of the best features of both.Another camera.:-)
