Pretty Chaffinch

A day of housework and tidying. I did manage to nip outside a few times and sat and had a cup of tea. The birds were all in full voice. The garden was busy with chaffinch, greenfinch, goldfinch, coal, long tailed, blue and great tits, robins, blackbirds, dunnock, pigeons, crows and gulls, The field was full of redwings again but so hard to photograph as they fly off if there's any movement.Flocks of starlings were in the tree tops, tree creepers and woodpeckers in the oak trees but I bet most will disappear for the RSPB garden watch.
The extras show a chaffinch that made me smile :)
Very exciting news about Blipfoto, quite emotional. Long may it continue and well done to the Fab Four :)

We're off to see Peter May at the Ironworks tomorrow, is anyone else going, looking forward to it ?
