Bigger bee and Buddleia

Once upon a time there was a handsome bee, who fell madly in love with a beautiful Buddleia - nah, let's cut the crap, that's for fairy stories! lol
Today's a mix of heavy rain showers and lovely, warm sun. I wanted an early blip today as I have plans for this afternoon and evening. So once the sun returned after a downpour I went into the garden to see what was what. My purple (yes, it's that colour again!) Buddleia is now blooming, and this bee seemed quite besotted by it. The bee spent ages on this one flower head, indulging itself and quite oblivioous to my presence. So I took some shots .....

I don't understand how anyone can fear or hate bees - they're really quite placid. It's not as if they're Bad To The Bone (A great track by the great slide player George Thorogood - I HAD to get a music link in today! lol)
