Building Site

A frosty morning that became a cold and damp grey day – not much change there then, apart from the lower temperature.  We did a bit of house tidying this morning and the boys have been to the tip (boys work as BB always reminds me!).

We had a wander down town to exchange BB’s Christmas running shoes as a bit of the sole was coming apart after only a couple of outings.  The shop has ordered him a replacement pair and told us just to keep the faulty pair – which is a real bonus, though we feel a bit guilty about it as it doesn’t seem right.  TT has tried to stick them back together, but we doubt it will last – but he might get some wear out of them.

Just after we got home, the rain came on – will we ever have a day with no rain again?

Our friends A and M came round to visit later and stayed for tea.  It was really nice to see them and catch up properly.
