Up in the clouds
Lots of low cloud today, but with the temp set to rise throughout the week I thought it'd be wise to get some hill sets done asap.
Up until today I had been running alone, with just the vast collection of music and podcasts in the cloud to keep me company...this was all about to change. After my first two sets I met a pacemaker on the hillside, every time I got near he'd take off further up/down the hill. He seemed more comfortable with the slope than I was, and was managing to take off at a rate I struggled to keep up with. He was more of a short-sharp-burst sort of trainer, whereas I tend to prefer the long (slow) slog approach to my exercise.
After a few sets together he gave up and sauntered off into the haar. Maybe I'll see him on the next session.
