Twelfth Night tulips

I always like to get flowers for the moment the Christmas decs come down - the living room can look so bare.  Whether this happens on New Year's Day, or Twelfth Night, ie today when they're meant to be packed away is neither here nor there.  Also, you said you wanted to see my new pot bought at such vast expense yesterday, so I thought I'd give you a view of it.  Not all of it, mind, let's not get greedy!

I know, the anticipation is immense.

And of course it was a very beautiful morning, so I had to include that in the blip.  This was taken not long after I got up at my open bedroom window.

I have a couple of ideas I want to try out on blip this year (so no shutting down, please).  One I've mentioned is taking a series of pictures over time of the River Thames in London.  I am hoping I might get there on Thursday, but I'm a bit under the weather at the moment.  So we'll see..
