The Tartan Twosome

A rather yummy leisurely breakfast using the panettone that Bailey's mum gave us for Christmas. It makes excellent eggy bread. With bacon and maple syrup. Same again tomorrow please!

J came about midday and took Archie for a run up the Hill with Bailey. It's great because she sends me photos and updates the whole time. It's also great that Archie gets a good run out with his wee pal.

JR popped into town. This 'popping' usually turns out to last most of the day - 'I don't know where the time went!' Mind you, we still have the sparse New Year bus timetables, so it did take longer getting home.

We then popped round to J's for some very tasty nibbles and bubbles, and the two dogs posed in their matching tartan coats. Well, Archie, ever obliging, posed. Bailey, hilariously, kept pointedly turning her head away! Not just looking the other way - turning her head right round and facing backwards! (See extra). Sooooo funny. Though I did manage to catch her looking the right way...

I know what these two would be like in a classroom - I've had kids like them In every class in my teaching career.

Both endearing.
