Happy New Year

My first blip was of Bucks Fizz on 1 January 2014 with our friends S and M, (I know, I know, but it does sound more fun that way round) and 2 years later here we are with our glass of champagne before our Old Year's Night dinner.

I joined blip because I wanted to improve my photography, and though I've been inspired and impressed with the quality of the blips, I've realised I'm just not technically clever enough to get to grips with all the complications of settings and stops etc. (Obviously I've lacked the will as well, and maybe lost enthusiasm too). I've enjoyed so much reading the journals and making virtual friends, and this is really why I've continued for a year more than I intended. I have an addictive personality and now is the time for cold turkey.
