Happy Feet

We took Scarlett for her first ever ice skating session at the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink this morning.  They hold a session at 10am called 'Rinkidinks' where children under 5 can skate for free, and they have individually named penguins that they can use to help them balance.  Scarlett's penguin was called Magnus and I think I had as much fun with him as she did.

Being 28 weeks pregnant Rachel couldn't come on the ice with us, so she was in charge of the camera.  Scarlett managed about 20 minutes on the ice, which was good for her first time, and then we had a hot chocolate and a cake in the cafe overlooking the rink.

Tonight we're planning a girl's night out leaving Pappy to babysit :-)
