Mono Monday 101: Room 101

I'm not very familiar with today's challenge topic, but this is what I've gathered: It has to do with something you want to get rid of, or pet phobias. Since there are no snakes to be photographed this time of year, I will submit this.
Our barn loft has been inhabited by a barn owl(s) for the past thirty years. Initially the loft was much in use. There were hoops at both ends for basketball, we used to have barn dances and such. When the children grew, the loft was left to be the owl's domain, with this result: floor is covered with owl droppings at both ends of the room. Cleaning it is easier said than done, for who knows what kind of Hanta virus lurks in all of that waste. So, room 101, here you go.
