Christmas castle tour - Casa Loma Toronto

Very hard to chose only one photo today, may have to add more later. Very lazy morning at the hotel, skipped a workout for breakfast in bed. Spent the afternoon wandering the beautifully decorated Casa Loma castle, the closest we come to stunning historical buildings thanks to the fire in the early 1900s that razed this city. Very festive and fun with different rooms hosting different events including a magician in the Library, a children's show in the Conservatory, bouncy castle in the stables/garage and crafts and face painting in the smoking room. On the terrace was a wonderful open fire with custom smores and hot chocolate served by real live lumberjacks - so very Canadian. Today's tour was the highlight of our non-tradtional Christmas and so worth it. If you look closely in this photo there is a Blue Jay bird mascot posing for pictures. Home now with pizzas....tomorrow we will cook the turkey dinner.
