Non Traditional Christmas continues...

Late rising after the decadent and late neighbourhood party last night. After a few presents, coffee/tea/chocolate and omelettes we were on the road heading to the big city for the night at a hotel. 13 degrees, still mild... With no family here this year we opted for a non-traditional celebration and had a fantastic Chinese dinner out (the restaurant was packed). Tomorrow we will head for some history and some museums. It is a very nice change to not be spending hours and hours in the kitchen, although I doubt I will get out of it totally, we will likely do a turkey dinner one day this week - just so we can have some leftovers. Curling up in the hotel with a bottle of wine and a movie. Merry merry everyone! We hope you had a healthy and happy day spent with family and friends.
