Bangkok

We attended church at a congregation in Bangkok, which is the capital of Thailand. There were many different people there. I saw Americans and Thai people there. We even sang songs in English and Thai at the same time. It was an amazing experience. Thailand's economy thrives off of tourism, so the people there were similarly dressed to how Americans would dress. There is a significant amount of Western influence in Thailand--more in Bangkok than Phuket I think. In Bangkok I quickly learned what tuk tuks were! It's basically a giant closed-in moped but with back seats. They weave all throughout the traffic, which stressed me out sometimes. Traffic organization is a bit different than how it is back in The States!
