Temple of the Emerald Buddha

Visiting the Grand Palace and The Emerald Buddha was quite an experience. There were SO many people there! It was so crowded. It reminded me of Disney World. I observed many different ethnic groups at the temple. The most obvious were the Asian people, but I saw some fellow Americans too. Once inside the temple, it was kinda chaotic. People were packed into every possible place. On the way out, there was no concept of lines. It's every man for himself. Just elbow your way past people. It's okay to do that. If you don't, it's a possibility you'll get trampled. Visiting a temple is a good way to get the full culutural experience. It might be overwhelming, but it's a very culturally enriching experience.
