Smug as a Bug!

I am smug as a smug thing today and smiling like Winnie, as I have finished all my Christmas and December birthday shopping AND written all my Christmas cards.  I have also booked my Tesco delivery slots up until the first week in January.    *polishes halo*

I allowed myself a few minutes of triumph before turning my head to think about what we're doing over the festive period plus who's coming here and when and what food and refreshments shall be required.

So far it's just us three on Christmas Day, then we're going to Ele & Kenny's on Boxing Day, (Alan has opted to stay at home with Ed rather than be with his boring parents and aunt and uncle :-) then Ele and Kenny and our friends Alan and Gail are coming to ours and staying over on the 27th.  We will need to see John and Norma at some point yet to be arranged, then on Hogmanay Agnes, Adrian, Ele and Kenny will come to ours to see in the New Year (a long standing tradition) and hopefully we will see our niece Jennifer and nephew Andrew and his girlfriend Nikki either the first or second as well as a few other friends that we're hoping to slot in round the family days!  

After all that I'll be ready to take to my bed and wake up in March!
