Winter Sun at Kergord Forest

A dull and dark start to the day, by mid morning the skies started to clear and the sun came out.  Been a lovely sunny afternoon :)  There has been the odd shower this evening!

I've had a busy day in the museum office.  Plenty of work to catch up with after a week off, and also more donations of photos arrived at my desk too!  I was down in the museum from time to time too, and a lot quieter than yesterday.  After my walkies tonight, I had planned to go visiting but fell a sleep on the sofa after tea.  Maybe get along friends another night.  Off to work in the pub again tonight, it's starting to get very quiet with the oil men now :)

With the sun shining, I planned a trip out of Lerwick with the car at lunchtime.  I headed to Weisdale, it's not a long drive and had a walk about the trees.  The sun was fairly low but was giving off fantastic light.  As I came down into the valley, the trees fairly broke the light.  Taken at Kergord, Weisdale.
