Christmas goat

Went to the Christmas event at the National Fruit Centre at Brogdale near Faversham this morning to see what we could find for Christmas presents and to have the customary scone and coffee.

Bought a few things; some of the many hundreds of apple varieties grown at Brogdale, some honey, apple juice and some festive bags to put all the Christmas goodies in.

After lunch a walk before it got dark, then made 5 jars of cucumber pickle using the 5p cucumbers I bought to other day from Tesco.

Barbara and David arrived after their long but thankfully uneventful drive down from Edinburgh. They're only here for a day as they travel back up on Tuesday with Doreen.

Spoke with Chris who has recently returned from 6 days in Hawaii with DeShaun. Looks a great place to visit, with some spectacular scenery inland and on the coast.
