A and K..

..no blip yesterday. Had an absolutely horrendous trip down. Rain. Wind. Passing vehicles throwing buckets of water over us.. That's what it seemed like..

Lorries blown over, and scattered in the fields, cars spun off the road as they aquaplaned in the standing water, and floods everywhere. Rivers bursting banks, never seen anything like it.. Not the day to get the camera out.. So no blip yesterday.

Stayed in a lovely b&b in Alexandria, think we may be using that one again, just the perfect distance from home, and to come on to Sheffield.

A little drizzly here today, so spent the afternoon walking round the shops.. And the Christmas market..

A couple of shots here of A & K, taken from outside the WInter gardens, and one inside the winter garden. That big ball thing is a fountain with water erupting through a hole in the top. Nearly got a picture of a couple of young children looking at these plants in wonder, but too slow, and wrong lens on..

Met up with my nephew in town last night, he's come up to Sheffield for a show, and contacted A because he'd seen an advert for A's band in a pub. After a couple of texts, we all headed into town to try and find him, and did, much to everyone's surprise..
A and K have to work tomorrow, so we'll entertain ourselves through the day..
