Haprenden Common.
We used to live near here. Missed a blip again yesterday, traveling and blipping are not going together well for me..
Spent a day in Sheffield yesterday. I went to Record Collector in Fullwood Road, somewhere it 's always a pleasure to spend an hour or two, or three. They have a huge selection of second hand CD's (and Vinyl if that's your thing).. And I managed to spend more than a few hours!
An evening spent with A and K, we eat homemade chinese, and played board games. (I won!).
And then a drive down to Harps today. Now with Cath, G's mum.
We filled the car up with Diesel in Dumbarton, and still have over half a tank left. The car has been averaging 66.6 mph. I think that's pretty good. I've had it in "cruise" mode and doing the speed limit, or around 65 mph all the way. Cars overtake us, and we pass lorries, and the journey has been pretty relaxing (although you probably have to concentrate harder and be very aware of the speeds and position of other vehicles).
Here for three nights now, and then on to Gloucester..
Harpenden common was the site of Harpenden races, the starting point being just here. You can see the cricket pavilion in the middle distance, and it's just poured down! Tanni is hiding behind the sign!..
