Glencoe visitor centre.
A good run down to Alexandria. Stopped off at Tarvie on the way down for a drink and bacon roll.
Came down the side of Loch Ness, the rain was so bad it was difficult to work out if we were driving alongside the loch, or through it! Was told the other day that Loch Ness is deeper than most of the North see.Difficult to imagine when you can see the other side so clearly (perhaps not today though).
Next stop here in Glencoe. Not a soul about, but another coffee, and a lovely ham sandwich.
Glencoe and Rannoch moor were more impressive than I've ever seen them before. Heavy rain had filled the burns and there was water cascading everywhere. The ones on the South side were falling over the edge, but blown back up again by storm Desmond..
Now to find somewhere to eat, and bed early..
Cold has been a lot better today.
Finally found our B&B after driving round in the driving rain for half an hour.
