A great day to be on the lake

It has been another rather busy day. We joined with another charter boat on the lake to take a group of diplomats from here and China on a fishing charter. I had to help out as a "hostess"!!! The weather turned it on, and we managed to land two trout much to their delight, which we finely sliced and served on a bed of ice with soya sauce and wasabi paste. Tarawera at it's best.
Off to Waiuku tomorrow, it's Heatherbelles' 89th birthday and all the family will be together on Sunday to celebrate...a pre-xmas gathering.
I am hoping next week will be a little quieter and I can get back into "proper" blipping and commenting.
