A xmas flower for a birthday

Today was Heatherbelle's 89th birthday, and were able to spend a few hours with her this afternoon on our way to stay at our sons. There is a little joke about the Poinsettia, I always buy one for xmas and it seems to last for months, but HB has had trouble keeping them going. So told her this was her last chance with this one.The florist said they needed to only be watered once a week and keep out of direct sun. So here's hoping!
Good catching up with everyone, and once again a very quick blip...so little time...but guess everyone is like it around this time of the year.
