A dapper duck

as opposed to daffy duck.
This Pintail was on Loch Mor on Baleshare with its less photogenic mate. Always pretty, this one performed well for us - in the spot where I saw a couple of otters a few days ago. That time my camera battery ran out of charge but luckily today it didn't.
Tonight other less local neighbours came around to eat and another genial evening followed. Genial it was not outside however. The doorstep has had an increasingly large pile of slushy hail or snow on it from this morning and there is no sign of it disappearing.
