Rose-ringed Parakeet

A beautiful, colourful Rose-ringed Parakeet and reflection in the wadi. Shy birds that hardly ever come down to the ground unless they need a drink as this one does. They are incredibly noisy in the evening when they gather together and show off their flying skills, looking for a tree to roost in. All the hotels have literally hundreds if they have lovely lush gardens. A man in Ghubra feeds these birds from his third floor apartment and so the noise is deafening when he feeds them on his balcony(they love sunflower seed hearts)he has upwards of eighty apparently! I don't know what his neighbours think! I would love to see this spectacle!
