Church path

Quadring church is separated from the present village by about about a mile.  This may have been due to the plague or because of patterns of land drainage.  The answer seems to have got lost in the mists of time.  I travelled down to Halstead in Essex after church and took a couple of photos of the mill which is now an antiques centre.  Somehow, these got erased in the file transfer to the computer so this shot will have to do,
