Arnside Knott Walk

I've had a lovely birthday!

Breakfast in our room overlooking the Kent Estuary. Opening cards and pressies before heading out for a walk along the coast and then up and over Arnside Knott.

And a relaxing meal in a restaurant in the next town. What more could I ask for?

This shot was taken during the one brief shower we had when we were nearly at the top of Arnside Knott. As we looked over towards Morecome Bay, it was grey except for this glimmer of light beaming down towards the water. It was quite atmospheric. We actually had great weather, mostly sunshine but cold and windy. The first real wintry day of the season.

The other shot was taken walking back down from the Knott looking towards The Lakeland hills.
