New Flag

Have just received the referendum to vote on our countries new flag. The first stage is to rate the final 5 in order of preference, then there will be another referendum next year to decide between our present flag and the one that received the most votes. It has created much controversy and discussion in the country.

One of the choices was a white fern on a black background, this fern today against a very grey sky, was the inverse...or so I thought.

A very full social day, starting with a visit from one of our club members to look through their honours set, then a visit from v1k1 and the Forester, the men spent time in the workshop while Vicki and I had a great chat and a walk with our cameras. The day finished with social drinks with some neighbours....life is good!
