"Found" peony!

Out walking the other day and spotted a peony bud in a neglected garden....just wanting someone to take home and enjoy..so I did!

Anyway for Flower Friday it has just opened and looking very beautiful. Had a wee play, and the extra is a mono version that I added some coloured textures too, although I felt the dark leaves spoilt it a bit.

It has been a drizzly day, I have been inside processing photos from a house shoot yesterday, and Ian spent it on the lake with a charter for five Australian's who are renting a holiday house nearby. They thoroughly enjoyed their trip, and the weather didn't worry them too much....soaking in the hot pools in the rain was quite a novelty.
