Off to the Rolling Stones...

... well not us but the group that we took out on the boat this evening!!

A group of friends were over nighting at Tarawera on their way north to see the Rolling Stones in concert tomorrow night in Auckland and wanted to have a look around the lake while they were here.

This was the first charter for Ian since his shoulder op, but he managed okay, and I was the boat hand...well tried to be! But it was a fun night as we followed the lake around the small bays and shared a piece of our paradise with them.

This is Waitangi Bay and it was really calm this evening, just loved the reflections of the light from the Pongas.
