Cutting it Fine

After my long day out yesterday, and the prospect of a chilly day at Longshaw tomorrow, it was time at home today. I thought I'd practise some of what I'd learnt about using my microscope to ID fungi, and what made that even better was that a new toy - a field dissecting microscope - arrived to help me prepare my specimens for examination. Very pleased with it, considering it cost a fraction of my upright microscope. Also did some more planning for the Fungi Night I'm organising for our local group. I'll be so glad when that's out of the way!
