inspired by our mini pond

It's very small, but we are hoping that it will be big enough to support some interesting wildlife - frogs, newts, dragonflies, or even water boatmen. Adam has given us some oxygenating plants to prevent it from stagnating, and has prepared a mini bog garden next to the pond.

I have planted the candelabra primula I bought yesterday, together with others I have moved from elsewhere in the garden. It does seem very boggy. I might have to make a few more holes in the lining. But we did have an unusual quantity of rain yesterday!
