Cake in the cafe

This boy woke at 6 today. So we all had plenty of time to pack up and get to town for Ella's swimming lesson. It's not often she's had the chance to swim as dad works nights and mum is only allowed to take one child to swim at a time so it's been hard to build up confidence. However she finally got a place at a Sunday class when dad is off work and can mind her brother. She is obviously quite scared so is really brave to persist. After the class we met Mr C and Nathaniel in a lovely cafe for cake. Then we took them home - mum and dad had really enjoyed the time alone but unfortunately the post sugar downer started - we took advantage of the perk of grandparenthood and left them to it.
