On Simonside

Chris came to pick me up for a walk. We drove to Simonside for a 2.5 hour blow. The wind was from the west but it must have whirled in from the north, as it was chilly up there. These north-facing rocks are in the shade but Rothbury in the distance was bathed in sunlight.

Later I wrote my thank you letters, and started to think about getting my walking clothes sorted for our little trip next week. I also need to remember to take a scarf and long sleeves for entering mosques.
