The Magic Fountain of Montjuic

Barcelona Day 3
This morning we went upto the mountain of Montserrat to visit the Benedictine Abbey (extra shots). The inside of the basilica was amazing but as there were services being held at the time, we didn't really want to wander around too much so just stood quietly at the back and took a few shots. I am not religious but I do respect those who are and even I was quite offended by the lack of consideration of some of the visitors. The views were stunning and we did have a trip up a further 300 ft in the Funicular. We didn't have enough time to explore the nature reserve at the top which was a shame.

In the evening we went back to the Placa Espanya to watch the Magic Fountain..the fountain display set to lights and music which was a real sight to behold.
