Still for a moment

Wrens aren't especially rare (around here at least) - but they never seems to stop still long enough for me to be able to grab a shot - yet this morning whilst a lot of the UK was shrouded in fog - this little chap was having a wash in the stream & sunning himself to dry off - so I took my chance. The blue reflected in the wet limestone gives an indication of just how clear & gorgeous it was.

Saw the eye specialist today - confirmed that my eyes are super healthy oddly also confirmed that my eyesight is getting better since I stopped wearing my specs - (said my prescription would now be <0.75, down from 1.5) - so he's prescribed me some super strong steroid & antihistamine drops as a last resort & referred me to an allergy specialist - so I suspect an itchy arm is in my future!
