Psychedelic Sunday Sheep....

A dry day, not far off being a frost this morning. A downer cow with staggers this morning. Dosed her up with SC magnesium and a bottle of calcium for good luck,but she decided not to respond and is now an ex cow.
Spent the afternoon filling the top of a bin with barley. Plenty of keep fit shoveling .
This is one of the 4 Blackface tups we bought at  the Lanark sale. Needless to say he is not in the same price league as the £140k one made at Dalmally last week !
It always amazes me how fashions change.This one has had his wool dyed with orange bloom to make him look pretty. Two of the others have a browny grey tint which seems to be all the rage now (as it helps cover up any black wool in the fleece too ! )
