Turnip Tuesday.....

The morning after the night before, and they are looking a bit worse for wear ! So much so that they have now been fed to the coos.
A busy cattle day again. Brought the spring calving cows and calves in here to give the calves their first pneumonia vaccine . They get the 2nd dose when they are housed in 3-4 weeks. The vet came out to give the 5 heifer calves a jag as a precaution as I have seen at least one of them being romantically linked with the bull. They are only 8 months old so don't want them in calf.
The buyer came this afternoon to collect the 21 store bullocks we sold him last week. A brief helping hand to the bank balance , but it won't last long once I pay some bills. It's a never ending cycle, money in / money out. The trick is to try and keep it coming in as fast as it goes out, not easy !
