Flutter by butterfly

Very mild again today. Saw this on the back lawn this morning. Butterfly's on 1st November ? The weather is nuts.
Went to the village coffee morning and was surprised to see 3 neighbouring farmers there too. All had the same story as me - it was the only way of getting fed !
Spent the afternoon with a chainsaw tidying up some fallen thorn and willow trees for firewood ,because winter is bound to arrive at some point !
