97th St. to Central Park

An 8 a.m. view from our 11th floor apartment on West 97th Street, toward Central Park.  The colorful tree tops beyond the row of low houses are in the park. I've just discovered a different version of a quite similar view, from a couple of years ago.

A busy day, mainly occupied with personal business.  I got away to the Metropolitan Museum for a while at the end of the afternoon (taking advantage of its late Friday closing.  The most interesting thing there was a small exhibition on Andrea del Sarto (Italian, 1486-1530), focusing on how he developed one painting into another.
