Survivors

A few dozy wasps have emerged from the old nest, but as you can see from the blip and the extra, they seem to have different markings.  Unlikely to be two species in the same nest so just different ages, sexes or maturity?  I'm posting the photos to an identification website to get a definitive answer but am happy for any blippers' ideas!
