Symbolism....

....this represents the womb and is how burials happened at the time of Troy. In order to enter the next life, you had to be ready to be born a second time. I'm really glad there is now a better way!

The day began with rain and continued with rain...and more rain. Ugh. We visited the legendary city of Troy and appreciated the amazing excavations in a strong wind and pouring rain. It has been a cold and wet day! 

However spirits remained high and the shower was good when we got to our next hotel. Dinner was pretty amazing too with SO MUCH to choose from. 

My extra photo shows my sister (and a random man) and a Trojan Horse climbing frame...not much used other than for photos today.
