Good Health

Well, sticking to a diet is going to be easy, if every meal is like lunch today.
Mixed leaf salad, baby plum tomatoes from Italy, home made potato salad, a hard boiled egg . . . Oh yes, and a couple of slices of smoked salmon from Scotland.
I feel as though I may have been indulging myself with the smoked salmon; after all it was really not necessary. On the other hand it gave my salad just that extra ooomph that I needed.
I feel that I could almost be a vegetarian on days like this. But then I remember the flavour of a tasty medium rare rib-eye. And of course, the salmon!
I guess I enjoy food too much to become completely vegetarian and every day I spend time in the kitchen refining my culinary skills, I know that I will want to taste the fruit of my efforts - even though it may not be fruit.!
So, while I made the most of this salad, tomorrow is another day when my resolve will still hold good. Or not?
