Montmartre

We awoke to a gloriously sunny morning. Jumped on the Metro for the first time since we arrived and headed to Montmartre. We endured the throngs of people climbing the hill for the fab view from the Sacré-Coeur but didn't go in.

We then wandered through the quiet back streets, which are just charming but then ended up at the Moulin Rouge and we saw a far sleazier side of Paris. Made a sharp exit with the kids, as there were many questions (!) and spent the rest of the day near the river and the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries.
