Productive Day

Today has seen an early morning barrecore class and a lot of work. I had deadlines looming for two pieces of work that required decent periods of actual thinking. So today Carl hung out with the kids and I got on with them. This morning I hid in a coffee shop and the afternoon in my home office which is hidden away at the top of the house. In between I had lunch with Anna and painted her nails and helped with some Spanish homework. She has had a very productive day too.

For many reasons it's been a long time since I've had a long, focused work day. Joyously I both met the deadlines and rather enjoyed myself.

The one downside of the work day was that mid afternoon my eyes were really starting to hurt. Took the pup for a long walk along the river to help them defocus.

Minor panic this evening that I hadn't taken any pictures but thankfully my early morning self had been more on the ball so here is our path looking autumny.
